Püma Kalfün – Documentary Participation Policy Thank you for being part of Püma Kalfün, a documentary dedicated to protecting and celebrating cougars in Canada—and hopefully across the entire continent. Your voice and story are an essential part of this mission. Below is our participation policy and workflow for every interview. 1. Pre-Interview Questionnaire Before your scheduled interview, you will receive a short set of questions. You are free to edit, delete, or add new questions according to what you feel best represents your story and experience. 2. Filming Day & Model Release On the day of filming: You will be asked to sign a standard Model Release confirming that you agree to be filmed and that you understand how the footage may be used. You will receive a copy of your signed release for your records. This ensures transparency and protects both you and the production. 3. Access to Your Raw Footage After the filming session: You will receive a link to download the raw footage of your interview. If there is anything you wish to remove or request edits for, you must let us know within a reasonable timeframe (recommended: within 7 days). If we do not receive any edit or deletion requests within that period, it will be understood that: ✔️ You approve the material as-is ✔️ You give permission for us to use the footage in the documentary and promotional content 4. Usage of Footage By participating and signing the release, you agree that the final edited footage may be used for: The documentary Püma Kalfün Educational content Awareness campaigns Festivals, exhibitions, and online distribution Promotional material supporting conservation efforts We commit to using your contribution with respect and integrity.
